Three-column sculpture likely to placed near college's main entrance
ILLINOIS---A new three-column sculpture could find a temporary home on the grounds of Trinity Christian College in a collaborative arts effort between Palos Heights and the college. The city and its Public Arts Commission --founded nearly two years ago--will lend the 8- to 9-foot-high steel columns to the college. The City Council June 3 approved the drafting of a lease agreement for the sculpture between the city and college, which could be voted on later this month. The college will pay for the site plan and installation of the sculpture, under the agreement. [link]
